Angela Hernandez, violin

Angela Hernandez is a 4th year Spanish and Biological Sciences major from Fresno, California. She has been playing the violin for 13 years and has participated in several local and state-wide performing groups, solo festivals, and workshops. She served as concertmaster of her high school orchestra and was one of the her youth symphony's Solo Competition winners in 2004. In 2000, she performed in Italy, Austria, and Switzerland with the Fresno Youth Symphony. She also toured Spain and Portugal during the summer of 2005. Angela plans on applying to medical school next year and intends on continuing to play the violin throughout her career.
