Ryan Ismail, horn

Ryan Ismail has been playing French horn for 10 years. He began playing in 6th grade, and started playing in the Santa Cruz High School Band by 8th grade. He spent two years performing in the SCHS Marching Band and competed around California. He is alumni to the Santa Cruz Youth Symphony and the San Jose Youth Orchestra. With the San Jose Youth Orchestra, Ryan toured through Japan, performing concerts in several different cities for two weeks. Ryan has two times played first chair in the Central Coast Section Honor Band and has played twice in the Northern California Honor Band as well. He has participated in many musical events such as Cazadero Music Camp, the Real World Horn Seminar, and Horn Day on several accounts. Ryan is a skilled and accomplished musician who is passionate for and enjoys spreading the love of music to all who care to listen.
