Christine Tsai, violin

Christine Tsai was born in Chicago, Illinois, lived in Taiwan for four years, and then finally moved to San Jose California.  She is the oldest child in a family of four. Throughout middle and high school she has been part of the San Jose Symphony as well as many other extra curricular activities.  She enjoyed coaching and her summer job as a swim instructor for West Coast Aquatics. She is currently finishing her B.A. in Music Composition at UC Davis.  Later down the line she plans to do graduate studies in music education.  Until then, she works as a realtor for Lyon Real Estate, as well as a private teacher for violin and viola at the local Music Stream Center.  She has been playing the piano for sixteen years, the viola for ten years, and the violin for six years.
